Our membership includes private venture capital funds, corporate venture capital funds, infrastructure participants and individuals.  The MVCA provides a concerted voice for the venture capital industry and strives to improve the economic environment for its members, while also providing many networking opportunities each year.

MVCA Spotlight MVCA Venture Upstart Programs The MVCA was awarded $2.1 million dollars by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to implement three programs aimed at meeting the MVCA's mission of growing and sustaining a vibrant venture capital community in Michigan. The goals for these programs include: The development of the Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) Program and a CEO Placement Program results in experienced, serial entrepreneurs as CEOs of Michigan-based venture-backed companies. The establishment of four new venture funds in the State through a Fund Development Program. The completion of a Research Program providing significant information about the health of Michigan's entrepreneurial economy, and in particular its venture funds and venture backed companies.
